We couldn't have asked for a better hotel to have stayed in. Every single member of staff we dealt with were extremely kind and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable (the bed was amazing) and also the shower I have to say was possibly one of the best I've ever experienced. I would definitely recommend and will definitely stay again.

A beautiful little hotel in a peaceful area, well-located for restaurants and city access. Very welcoming reception and attentive staff, who recommended The Old Spot, where we enjoyed a truly superb evening meal. Rooms well appointed and beds delightfully comfortable. Would definitely choose to stay here again when we return to Dublin. A real Jewel.

I am typing this at the Roxford Lodge Hotel's guest computer which is next to a window overlooking the hotel's garden and has an expansive view of of Victorian arched doorway homes across the road, not to mention a tree which seems to have Biblical roots. I am waiting to have breakfast; the breakfasts have definitely exceeded expectations; my eggs (over medium) were cooked to perfection and the requested crisp bacon was crisp. The fruit bowl also exceeded my expectations; fresh, fresh, fresh!Agnes was ever-so hospitable. My bed was comfortable and despite facing the street was quiet due to double paned windows. I would write more but I need to get to breakfast to read one of the three available papers. Conclusion: Wonderful!

Lovely Inn on a quaint tree lined street. Located just outside city center that you could easily walk to in 15 minutes to sites. The bus stop is right outside the door with several buses running frequently, very convenient. Also, the DART train stop is 2 blocks away for trips to Malahide Castle, Howth, Bray and othe seaside towns. Many restaurants and pubs just a block away. Inn Staff were wonderful. Room was spacious and very clean, comfy bed. Full breakfast was delicious and offered so many options. WiFi access. Very happy with our stay and would return. Thank you!

The staff was extremly helpful and courtious. It has the feel of a small bed and breakfast and the charm of an old victorian bome.

I stayed at the Roxford Lodge for one night on my own as I was in Dublin attending an event. As I was only getting to Dublin just in time for the event and didn't have time to check in before-hand, I was going to be arriving very late, and they kindly had the night porter wait for me even though my check-in was past midnight (I did coordinate my late arrival time in advance, however). My single room was just as large as many double rooms I've stayed in, and had lovely vaulted ceilings which gave the room an even bigger feel. I was suprised to find that there was a DVD player with a selection of perhaps 20 or so movies and a Nespresso machine with a variety of flavors, neither of which I was expecting. I booked the Roxford Lodge as I know the general area and I didn't want to spend too much money as I wasn't going to be spending much time there and the price was right, but I found that it was actually a much more comfortable and pleasant place than some hotels that are far more expensive. I would absolutely stay here again and would definitely recommend it to friends.
