Roxford Lodge Hotel is situated in the heart of Ballsbridge, one of Dublin’s most fashionable and exclusive areas. It shares its location with that of the World’s Embassies, the Royal Dublin Society (RDS), Lansdowne Road Rugby/ Football Stadium or Aviva Stadium, and within easy access to the O2 concert venue and Croke Park.   
 
This elegant Victorian townhouse is only a short stroll from the bustling centre of cosmopolitan Dublin, and the city’s main tourist attractions, cultural and business centres. Many of the Capital’s most popular Restaurants and Bars are only a few minutes walk away. 
 
Roxford Lodge is the perfect base from which to discover Dublin city.  

The hotel is close to all transport links with a regular bus service available right outside the hotel. The DART (an electric train) is within walking distance, as well as the luxury air coach bus link to and from Dublin Airport, making it ideal for both the business traveler and tourist.

TRAVELLING FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT

About 12km/7.5miles 
 
Dublin Airport is situated to the north of the City Centre. The airport is not served by train so the only way to get to the Roxford Lodge Hotel is via bus, taxi or private car.

BY BUS FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT  

Take the luxury Aircoach bus in the direction to the city centre/Ballsbridge, which leaves every 15 minutes from outside the Dublin airport arrivals terminal. You will need to get off at the School House Hotel which is at the start of Northumberland Road. Our Hotel, the Roxford Lodge Hotel, is only a 100 yards or literally a two minute walk away from there. Once you get off the Aircoach bus, walk in the same direction as the bus goes and you will come to a set of traffic lights. Once you go straight through those traffic lights, our Hotel is literally a few yards from there. We are located on the left-hand side of that road at the first public bus stop on Northumberland road.

Children under the age of 5 continue to travel free provided they are accompanied by a fare-paying adult (including senior citizens).

BY TAXI FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT  

There is a taxi rank outside the arrivals area at Dublin airport. A one way fare to the city centre takes around 45 minutes (depending on traffic). Costs: approximately €25 - €30

BY CAR FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT

Departing Dublin Airport you should drive to the Airport Roundabout and take the second exit onto the M1 (signposted Dublin). Take the Dublin Port Tunnel and once you arrive at the end of this Tunnel, just follow the sign for the N11 to Junction 52 (which is the corner of Haddington Road and Northumberland Road) and we are located on Route 118 which is 200 yards from this junction.

 
TRAVELLING FROM DUN LAOGHAIRE FERRY PORT / SOUTH EAST

BY CAR FROM DUN LAOGHAIRE FERRY PORT

Follow directions to Dublin City Centre, you will be driving on the N11 and look out for a sign called Ballsbridge and take a right onto Anglsea road and then at the end of that road, take a left onto Merrion Road (Route 118). From there, head straight and you will pass D4 Hotels, formerly known as Jury’s Hotel, which will be on your right hand side. Go straight through the traffic lights and you will be on Northumberland Road. Our Hotel is on the right hand side. We are half way between Lansdowne Road and Haddington Road.

BY BUS FROM DUN LAOGHAIRE FERRY PORT  

When you arrive in Dun Laoghaire, take the number 7 or number 45 bus, which are located outside the Dun Laoghaire DART Station, towards the city centre and this will bring you to Northumberland road. Simply ask the bus driver to let you off at the second bus stop on Northumberland road. Once you get off the bus, our Hotel is literally across the road on the right -hand side. 
 

 
TRAVELLING FROM THE WEST OF IRELAND

BY CAR : From the N4 Motorway, follow the signs for the N11 to Junction 52 ( which is the corner of Haddington Road and Northumberland road). We are approximately 200 yards from this location on Route 118 (Northumberland Road).

BY TRAIN: From Heuston Station

About 5km/3.11 miles

Heuston rail station serves the west of Ireland and is located west of Trinity College. You can reach the Roxford Lodge Hotel from Heuston Station by LUAS and DART or by Taxi.

BY LUAS + DART 
Take the LUAS at Heuston Station, direction Connolly Station. Get out at Connolly Station and take the DART to Lansdowne Road Dart Station (direction Bray or Greystones).

Costs DART: One way €1.40

Once you leave Lansdowne Dart station, turn left and walk down Lansdowne Road until you come to a set of traffic lights.  Go straight through those traffic lights and keep going straight until you come to the next set of traffic lights.  You will be walking along by the Berkely Court hotel and Ballsbridge Towers hotel. Once you reach the next set of traffic lights, turn right.  You will now be on Northumberland Road, keep walking straight and eventually you will reach our Hotel as it will be on the right hand side of the street.  Lansdowne Dart Station is literally 5 minutes walk from our hotel.

By Taxi 
Taxis from Heuston Station to the Roxford Lodge Hotel takes around 25 to 30 minutes (depending on traffic) and costs between €10-€15.
